Kinesiology

Welcome to Holistic Health with Sarah, I am a fully qualified kinesiologist based in Uppingham near Oakham in Rutland.
Kinesiology is a truly holistic non-invasive and painless process, suitable for all, that works with the mind and body to achieve optimum health and wellbeing.
Kinesiology restores the energy balance in the body by supporting the individual’s own healing process. Imbalances may be corrected by specific massage, rubbing and holding techniques and supported long term by the indicated nutrition or dietary recommendations.
Kinesiology differs from other therapies by addressing the problem at the root cause and not just looking at the symptoms. Thus, taking the whole body into consideration looking at the interconnections between physical health, biochemical function, emotional well-being, and energy flow.
Within the sessions I use Bach Remedies and phytobiophysics flower formula’s. These help alleviate stress, anxiety and help balance all round emotional well-being.
I also include sound therapy using tuning forks.
Sound is not just registered through the ears, the entire body responds to sound waves. Sound healing can release emotional blockages as well as blocked energy in the Meridian & Chakra systems.
Sound can energize the body when tired or relax the body by soothing the nervous system when we are upset or angry. It also has the amazing ability to lift our spirits in times of depression.

How can Kinesiology help you?
• Digestive issues - bloating, gas, abdominal discomfort
• Food intolerances
• Skin conditions
• Stress, anxiety, self-esteem
• Fatigue
• And more!

When you make an appointment, you will be sent a form to complete and return, enabling the practitioner to assess your current health and lifestyle. This not only saves time but will also give you the opportunity to consider your own needs.
A first session involves an in-depth consultation, followed by muscle testing and evaluation.
Clients lie fully clothed on a couch while, using gentle pressure, the practitioner tests the resistance of one or more muscles, usually using either an arm or a leg, to pinpoint internal imbalances.
Where an imbalance is found the practitioner will focus on the most effective health solutions to help bring about the restoration of inner harmony.

I will happily provide a free 15 minute phone consultation if you would like to see if kinesiology can help you.

Based in Rutland, on your first appointment we will discuss your needs in a lovely calm space.

We can offer kinesiology sessions including chakra balancing, vibrational healing using tuning forks and also assess Primary and Primitive Reflexes.

What is Kinesiology;

Kinesiology is a holistic approach to balancing the body as a whole using 'light pressure' muscle testing, working with the biofeedback from the muscle to identify any imbalances in the body, be that structural, emotional, energetic or biochemical (e.g. nutritional deficiencies, intolerances)

How I found kinesiology;

I had tried various types of treatment to help with my back pain and was taking various pain killers and anti-inflammatories every day. I had managed to come off the pain killers but really wanted to come off the anti-inflammatory medication but couldn’t control the inflammation if I did. A friend of mine sees a kinesiologist so I thought I would give it a try as I had nothing to lose and had exhausted every other avenue. I was blown away after my first session and had never dreamed that a food intolerance was contributing to the inflammation in my body. They also picked up on my digestive issues as well. I have never looked back and am so grateful that I found kinesiology

Tuning Forks;

Vibrational healing is based on the principle that everything in the universe, including the human body, vibrates at specific frequencies.
When these frequencies become imbalanced, it can lead to physical, emotional, or mental disharmony.

Primary and Primitive Reflexes;

Primary or primitive reflexes are developed in the womb and just after birth, to give us coping mechanisms and appropriate response to stimuli. Due to some form of stress during pregnancy, birth or early infancy, we retain some primitive reflexes, which have an adverse impact on our ability to learn and interact with the world around us.

The table below shows some of the signs but there are many more…

“The work you have done with me so far has been amazing! I can’t tell you what Sarah has done for me in just a couple of sessions. With help on a very emotional subject that I didn’t realise was causing such an issue, but also a possible life changing finding from a medical aspect. It’s a few weeks since my last session and having followed Sarah’s recommendations I feel like such a shift has happened. I can’t wait to continue with your help”

"Since my kinesiology treatments I feel so much better. Having suffered with endometriosis, I was getting fed up with the lack of help from the doctors in how to help deal with the pain I was experiencing. However, following Sarah’s advice I have now been pain free. She is always so kind and friendly, with a very special calmness about her which means I leave feeling relaxed and positive."
