What is Kinesiology;
Kinesiology is a holistic approach to balancing the body as a whole using 'light pressure' muscle testing, working with the biofeedback from the muscle to identify any imbalances in the body, be that structural, emotional, energetic or biochemical (e.g. nutritional deficiencies, intolerances)
Kinesiology was founded in 1964 by Dr George Goodheart who became famous for being able to solve health
problems that no one else could.
Systematic kinesiology (pronounced kin-easy-ology) techniques mainly use manual muscle testing to assess various aspects of a person's
health, including potential allergens. Proponents of systematic kinesiology suggest that muscle testing can
identify substances that may cause allergies or sensitivities by detecting changes in muscle strength or response when the body
is exposed to these substances.
If you are worried about being muscle tested on painful joints,
Clients will lie on a treatment couch, fully clothed throughout the session. It is advisable to wear comfortable clothing, joggers, leggings, etc.
Kinesiology practitioners do not diagnose conditions. If you have a pre-diagnosed condition or think you may have a condition, please consult your GP before proceeding with any new therapies.
